Barry Primary & Nursery School

Universal free school meals are available to all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.  On the day your child starts school you will be given an account activation letter and you will then be able to book lunches online.  In the meantime, please send your child to school with a packed lunch.

Please look out for exciting information about our new school meal provider, Coombs, coming soon!

Coombs will be the supplier of school meals at Barry Primary from September 2024.  Parents will still order meals using Parent Pay.  If you are already registered for Parent Pay you do not need to do anything further.  New menus will be uploaded in late July.

Chartwells

If you need to cancel any meals due to your child being unwell and not attending school, please call the Chartwells Customer Care Line before 9.00am on the first day of your childs absence.  A credit is given from the second day onwards.

Schools trips and other cancellations – 48 hours’ notice before 9.00am prior to the event the parent needs to call the Chartwells Customer Care Line in order for the meal to be cancelled and a credit given.
